OSSC, Oncological Student Scientific Conference, is a student scientific conference that focuses on the oncological aspect of medicine and its findings. The 5th Oncological Student Scientific Conference (OSSC) is a nationwide oncological conference. It is organized by The English Division Pediatric Oncology Scientific Circle of Medical University of Gdańsk. The aim of the event is to enable participants to present and discuss their scientific achievements. It brings the international community of students and young doctors interested in oncology and related fields together.
The event is located at the Medical University of Gdansk in Poland on 17-18th March 2023. This in-person conference can accommodate 100 participants. The delivery of lectures, sessions, and workshops is via the English language. All participants will be provided souvenirs – welcome bags with the agenda of the conference, information about OSSC – speakers, partners, ambassadors as well as the committee; and promotional materials along with discount vouchers from the sponsors.
OSSC has 15 confirmed ambassadors for the OSSC.
Abstract submission & Registration
Students and young (internship) doctors interested in active participation in the conference may submit abstracts (in English) by March 5th, 2023. The conference accepts abstracts of only original papers and case reports. Passive participation registration is possible here. Workshops & Lectures
Each year our conference aims to present the significant scientific achievements of our participants, where we acknowledge and discuss their findings. We also carry out workshops to hone our skills like emergency management, biopsies, ultrasonography, diagnostic algorithms, doctor-patient rapports, etc. Our lectures will focus on an aspect of care in oncology. The conference welcomes reputable professionals of oncology for the lectures and workshops.
Abstract Competition
There will be an abstract competition- from all the submitted abstracts, 15 will be selected. The 15 active participants compete to win in their respective sessions and for the Grand Prize.
Winners will receive special prizes and discounts from the sponsors.
