29-year-old male patient presented with a 6-month history of progressive, nonpruritic skin lesions.

A 29-year-old male patient presented to the hematology clinic with progressive painless and nonpruritic skin lesions. This article describes the case of blastic plasmacytoid dendritic-cell neoplasm with a 6-month history.

The patient’s medical history did not reveal any other symptoms such as night sweats or weight loss. كيفية لعبة البوكر On physical examination extensive violaceous lesions could be seen on the face, back, trunk and limbs. For further evaluation, the lesion was biopsied and sent for histopathological analysis which showed diffuse dermal infiltrate with blast-like cells that extended to the hypodermis. In addition, immunohistochemical analysis showed cells positive for CD4, CD56 and CD123. The findings were consistent with the diagnosis of blastic plasmacytoid dendritic-cell neoplasm.

This disease is a rare and aggressive cancer of the bone marrow and blood that can affect the skin, central nervous system, spleen and lymph nodes. The lesions are a common presentation in patients with this cancer. The skin lesions are generally deep purple in colour and most patients develop multiple lesions. The cancer is more common in women and in patients 60 years and older.

Computed tomography did not show any evidence of extracutaneous disease. The plasmacytoid dendritic cells present in bone marrow aspiration were 1% neoplastic. The patient was prescribed a 1-week course of dexamethasone, after which there was a significant improvement in the cutaneous lesions. تعلم لعب البوكر He was further prescribed eight cycles of hyper-CVAD (cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, and dexamethasone) with an alternating high dose of methotrexate and cytarabine. مواقع قمار

The therapy resulted in complete remission. Although the disease is systemic, it can often manifest with cutaneous lesions. Therefore, it is important to find out the stage of the cancer before initiating therapy.

Unfortunately, 6 months after the patient was free from disease, the cancer relapsed and he did not respond to any further treatment. He died 27 months after his diagnosis.
